Joyful & Reverent Worship
We are committed to glorifying God in worship each Lord’s Day with reverential awe and joy (Ps. 95:1-2; Heb. 12:28-29). In order to worship God in Spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:23-24), our worship services include the same elements as the New Testament church who devoted themselves to the reading and preaching of God’s Word, to prayer and singing praises, to the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, to giving of offerings, and to fellowship (Acts 2:41-47).

Christ-centered & Expository Preaching
We are committed to preaching that consistently exalts the Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel from all of the Bible – both the Old and New Testaments (Lk. 24:27, 44). Since all Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable (2 Tim. 3:16-17), our pastors often preach through books of the Bible giving attention to each verse, in order to show how it is fulfilled by Christ and what it practically means for life.

Faithful & Dependent Prayer
We are committed to Westminster being a “house of prayer” (Isa. 56:7; Matt. 21:13) and relying upon God to bless the ministry (Matt. 7:7-11). Everything we do will be in vain unless the Lord builds His church (Ps. 127:1), so we need to faithfully and humbly ask Him for His help. We are dedicated to praying both corporately and privately for God’s continued work in our lives, in our church, and in our world.

Biblical & Reformed Doctrine
We are committed to the Bible as our only infallible rule for faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16-17). We also believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms are a faithful, subordinate summary of Scripture’s teaching, and all of our church officers (i.e. pastor, elders, deacons) agree to them as our doctrinal standards. We are self-consciously reformed and affirm the 5 Solas of historic Protestantism: that salvation is by Scripture alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone, by faith alone, and to the glory to God alone.

Presbyterian & Accountable Leadership
We are committed to a plurality of elders called ‘presbyters’ who have been gifted and called by God to lead (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Tit. 1:5-16). These men are elected by the congregation and are responsible for instructing God’s Word (1 Tim. 3:2; Heb. 13:7), for exercising spiritual oversight and care (Heb. 13:17; 1 Pet 5:2), and for being godly examples (1 Pet. 5:3). Our leaders are accountable first to God (Heb. 13:17) but also to the Presbytery made up of other pastors and elders (Acts 15) and to the congregation.

Loving & Holy Fellowship
We are committed to loving another as Christ has first loved us (Jn. 13:34-35) and to striving by God’s grace and His Spirit to be more holy as He is holy (1 Pet. 1:16). As those who have experienced God’s great grace and love, our sincere desire is for His grace and love to permeate all that we say and do as a Christian community. This also means that we strive to encourage one another to love and good works (Heb. 10:24-25) as God calls us to be in this world but not of this world (Jn. 17:15-16).

Global & Evangelical Mission
We are committed to reaching our neighbors and the nations with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:18-20). We believe that this message of reconciliation is what the world needs more than anything else! For this reason, we proclaim Christ crucified and raised for all who will believe, we actively train future leaders of Christ’s church and send them into the harvest, and we give gladly and generously to Christian education, and both home and foreign missions.
