We see teenage years to be a pivotal, formative time in spiritual growth as they are preparing to further engage the world and defend their faith. Our part-time staff youth group leader Luke Miller and activities assistant David Reem work with families and volunteers to encourage and equip teens to build a solid, Christian worldview and meaningful Christian relationships through frequent times of study, prayer, fellowship and service coupled with enjoyable activities together.
Our Youth Group (7th-12th grade) currently meets for Christian education classes every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., for Catechism classes on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, and for monthly activities that include times of fun, fellowship, service, study, discussion, and prayer.
Westminster also hosts an annual Fall Youth Rally for all the youth from Westminster and from all the churches in our presbytery. Each year a pastor will teach on some important topic of the Christian faith, and the kids will have the opportunity to engage the material, pray and sing together and have a ton of fun!
