Westminster is a vibrant, growing family of believers from the greater Blair County area of Pennsylvania. We love to worship God, fellowship with one another, and desire to reach our communities with the good news that Jesus died to save sinners like us. Whether you’ve been a Christian since your childhood, are a new believer or simply want to know more about what it means to be a Christian, you will be warmly welcomed at Westminster. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and invite you to contact us with any questions, and, of course, come to visit us soon!

EVENING SERVICE
What is a service like?
Before the services begin, you will find our members catching up with one another and eager to meet visitors. A greeter will be at the entrance of the sanctuary to give you a bulletin, and you are welcome to sit wherever you like in the sanctuary. Our services typically begin with announcements just before a time of silent prayer and reflection to prepare for worship. You will find that our worship services are predominantly traditional, and one of our pastors, a pastoral intern or one of our ruling elders lead the service. The leader informs the congregation when we should stand or sit and sing or pray. Our morning service usually lasts an hour and a half and our evening service an hour. After the service concludes, we invite you to stay as long as you would like for a time of fellowship.
Our Location
1401 Frankstown Road

Our church is located at the top of Frankstown Road in Hollidaysburg and is easily accessible from many neighboring cities like Altoona, Duncansville, East Freedom, Martinsburg, Bellwood, etc.. We’re nestled slightly off the road, so keep an eye out for the church sign and the red brick building.
FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
In short, Yes! Whoever you are, whether you’ve just moved to town, you’ve lived here all your life, or you are just traveling on vacation, we’d love to have you and will welcome you warmly. We understand people come from different backgrounds, Christian and unchristian, and we will welcome you as you are.
Our church has two sets of restrooms – one upstairs near the entrance to our Christian education wing and one downstairs across the hall from our nursery.
We have plenty of parking at Westminster, so there is no need to worry about finding a spot.
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month. If you have publicly confessed your faith in Jesus Christ at Westminster or another gospel-preaching church and have been baptized as a member of Christ’s church, we invite you to join us for this special meal.
During our services we receive an offering to support the ministries of our church and the Great Commission. This is an expression of our worship and thankfulness to God for all He has first given us. We do not expect visitors to give, and you should feel free to pass the plate on to the next person in your row.
We don’t have a dress code. You’ll find that the spectrum of outfits spans from suits to jeans and jumpers to dresses.
We believe that children are vital members of our church and we welcome them to participate in our main services with their families. We know that small children might find it challenging to sit through a whole service. If you or they need a break or you are concerned they could be a distraction we have a staffed nursery available downstairs. After worship we offer children’s Sunday school classes. We want your children to feel welcome and at home at Westminster.
